Sensuous, Soulful Smooth Jazz with a Groove is Back In Style!

Groove Frequencies have just released their Global Debut Album, ‘IN THE GROOVE’.

Groove Frequencies are a sensational and exciting New Smooth Jazz Group who love Sexy, Soulful Smooth Jazz, music that pushes boundaries, blending harmonies with instruments to create sensational Grooves that don’t just focus on a single musical instrument.

Hailing from San Antonio, Texas, their music is a refreshing take on the style of Powerhouse Smooth Jazz Group Four Play… whose music is written with a unique perspective based on different music for each instrument that forms the band.

Founder John Stewart knew what he was looking for with his music direction and his talents in song writing began with his days in a military band whilst in the army. Teaming up with Tim Perry (Guitarist) and later with Billy-Ray Sheppard on (Saxophone), the trio soon had the underpinning for a great group with a shared passion for Sensational Jazz music.

Joining the group during the recording of this debut Album ‘IN THE GROOVE’ is Jay Williams, who balances the group on Drums, Parris Spivey (Guitar), Eddie Baccus Jr. (Saxophone), Dawoud Said (Keyboards), Rodney Kelley Jr. (Keyboards) and Mica Smith (Vocals).
This debut album release is about life & family, with 13 original compositions, and a Smooth Jazz cover of the Bill Withers' classic, ‘Lovely Day’.

Setting out on this new adventure of their awesome combined musical talents, Groove Frequencies are winning over the hearts of Smooth Jazz music lovers and inspiring listeners from all walks of life with their new release ‘IN THE GROOVE’.
